An environment for decisions

Our applications serve civil and industrial uses, security and defence. Each of our calculation tools plugs into a single modular platform.

Who for

  • Authorities
  • Insurers and reinsurers
  • Project owners
  • Industry

What the satellite observes, our engineers turn into decisions.

Mapping identifies the infrastructure; our engineers analyse the construction types and compute them with proven models, interpret the regulations, then define the protection measures. Each client keeps their data, hosted securely.

Information to decide

What our tools bring

They quantify the effects of dynamic loading and qualify the damage, in light of the context of each study and the applicable regulations.

How far do the effects reach?

  • Danger zones drawn on the site map
  • Effects read building by building

Results you can justify

Our tools calculate quickly, using simplified methods. Each one has been checked against full studies and real tests, and is only used in the cases checked this way.

Every result comes out as a dated, versioned sheet: it cites the standard it derives from and states its domain of validity.

Our tools are developed to ISO 19443 and checked against real test results, obtained on our own site: a result can be justified to an inspection body or an authority.

Standards

  • UFC 3-340-02US Department of Defense criteria for designing structures to resist the effects of accidental explosions.
  • EurocodesEuropean standards for structural design (EN 1990 to EN 1999).
  • AASTPNATO publications on the storage and transport of ammunition (Allied Ammunition Storage and Transport Publications).
  • IATGUnited Nations technical guidelines for the safe management of ammunition (International Ammunition Technical Guidelines).
  • EN 13123Explosion resistance of windows, doors and shutters: requirements and classification.
  • EN 13124Explosion resistance of windows, doors and shutters: test methods.

Certifications

  • ISO 9001International standard for quality management.
  • ISO 19443Quality requirements specific to the civil nuclear supply chain, for items and services important to safety.

Blast calculator

A basic calculation that shows the thresholds of the French pyrotechnic regulation.

Effects on people

  1. Significant lethal effects (200 mbar)up to — m
  2. First lethal effects (140 mbar)up to — m
  3. Irreversible effects (50 mbar)up to — m
  4. Indirect effects from breaking glass (20 mbar)up to — m

Calculation offered according to the thresholds of the relevant French regulations. Indicative, non-contractual values that do not constitute a calculation report. Impulse and wave shape require a full study.
